Cucumber "Picnic" F1
Gherkin "Picnic" F1 (Parthenocarpic hybrid) for spring-summer and summer-autumn growing cycles. Hybrid is notable for its simultaneous yield, recommended for short cycle.
Transplanting of seedlings in greenhouses is possible from the end of February. Plants are of medium size with low branching level, female type of flowering. Each node contains 2-5 (up to 8-10) fruit sets, the main stem is especially rich infruit sets. Fruits are 10-12 cm long, 3.3-3.8 cm in diameter, of 90-100 g, dark-green, tuberous, have white spines, can be universally used.
Fruits are good in different maturity stages (immature big fruits, gherkins, pickles).
The yield in plastic houses is up to 18-20 kg/m2. Hybrid is more or less resistant to powdery mildew and downy mildew.
